March 03, 2022 - Trinity Information Technology, LLC (Trinity IT), a small business delivering federal IT solutions, is pleased to announce certification as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) business by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
Trinity IT is immediately eligible for HUBZone program benefits, including HUBZone set-aside awards, HUBZone sole source awards, the HUBZone Price Evaluation Preference in full and open competition, and HUBZone reserves.
The SBA processes a small businesses application for HUBZone certification by verifying the program’s requirements for the applicant to operate in and employ residents of historically underutilized business zones. The federal government has a goal of awarding at least 3 percent of all federal contracting dollars to HUBZone-certified businesses each year. As a HUBZone-certified business, Trinity IT is eligible to compete for the HUBZone program’s set-aside contracts.
“The HUBZone designation for Trinity IT reflects our commitment to serve underserved communities by stimulating economic growth and creating new jobs.” said Thomas Buck, Founder and CEO of Trinity IT, “We are thrilled to help strengthen our local economy, while enabling our government customers and strategic partners to meet their small business goals.”
